What ages do you work with?
I work with children ages 2 through 18, as well as adults with developmental disabilities, providing individualized support across the lifespan.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! I offer free 15-minute phone or virtual consultations to help you determine if therapy is the right next step for your child.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare. If billing through insurance, sessions are limited to 30 minutes as insurance plans reimburse me at or below my standard 30-minute rate. Private pay allows me to offer longer, more personalized care without insurance limitations.
Do I need a referral from my pediatrician?
No referral is required to begin services. You can contact me directly to schedule a free consultation or evaluation.
What are your private pay rates?
Speech and language therapy sessions range from $70–$145, depending on session length, format, and location. AAC evaluations are $575 and include 2-3 hours of assessment, device trials (if appropriate), caregiver consultation, and a detailed funding report document to support next steps and potential device acquisition.
What is AAC?
AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication—tools and strategies used to support children who are nonverbal or have limited verbal speech. This includes picture boards, speech-generating devices, and more.
What happens during the evaluation?
Evaluations combine standardized tools with play-based and caregiver-informed assessments to provide a well-rounded understanding of your child’s communication. Each evaluation is 60 minutes long and includes time to take a thorough history, discuss your concerns, and understand your child as a whole—because your insight is just as important as the assessment itself. You’ll receive a detailed written report highlighting strengths, personalized goals, and clear next steps.

Do you offer virtual therapy?

Can I attend sessions with my child?

Are your support groups and classes really free?
Yes! I offer weekly support groups for those navigating the emotional load of parenting a child with communication or developmental needs.
Can you coordinate with my child's school or IEP team?
Yes—if you give written consent, I’m happy to collaborate with teachers, therapists, or IEP teams to help ensure consistency across settings.
How long will my child need therapy?
That depends on your child’s age, goals, and progress. We’ll regularly review goals and adjust the plan as needed—there’s no one-size-fits-all timeline.
